Anna Clark established her studio jewellery business in Rossland, British Columbia in 1999. Her work spans limited production runs, one of a kind works and commissioned pieces. She also finds time to experiment with new materials and techniques.
Strength of form, surface texture and pattern are the key elements in Anna's work. She enjoys the design process, making many sketches before starting work in the precious metal. Anna is inspired by patterns and shapes in nature, literally in her own garden and in the landscape around her, and she combines these with simple but strong three-dimensional forms to create her pieces.
Anna has won several awards for her work including from the Metal Arts Guild of Canada and from the Canada Council for the Arts. Anna shows her jewellery across Canada regularly, and has exhibited internationally.
