Chum McLeod

Yellow-Talking bird, Chum’s 5th artist’s book is an unconventional love story set in a piazza in Italy. It is a picture book for adults told in 8 paintings, and 3 black and white drawings.

New Canadian Girl paintings: This series started in the late 90’s and Canadian Girl has been continuing her thoughtful adventures ever since. Some of the paintings have to do with camping, Georgian Bay, kayaks, canoes, tents. Others are a little more ambiguous. There are hunters on the scene. A wolfman has appeared, and in the most recent painting has maybe been given his walking papers. But, you never know. The characters in these paintings do seem to have a life of their own.
