Montréal, and it's jewellery arts college, École de Joaillerie de Montréal, has recently "Unchained" a new group of young and creative jewellers. Their city has naturally inspired them to create unique collections evoking and harnessing the energy of the environment in which they live. The diverse backgrounds of the group's members and their individual personalities bring together a wide range of contemporary style and design. Montréal's new jewellers are "Unchained" in a group exhibition in Toronto for the first time. Having found their passion in the jewellery arts, and eager to push the boundaries of traditional styles they realize a personal aesthetic through their work in metal.
